What is a Trunk Show & Parking Lot Party?

Trunk or Treat + Trade Show = Trunk Show

Our Trunk Show is a trade show moved outdoors where Supplier Partners (vendors)
use their vehicle instead of the traditional trade show booth to show off their products and/or services to rental housing professionals. Only Supplier Members of TAA may participate as exhibitors in the Trunk Show.

The official time for the Trunk Show is from 4-7pm. Once the Trunk Show winds down the Parking Lot Party will fire up.

Beginning at 7pm we will have live music and the event transforms into just a time
to hang out with old friends...make new friends...and celebrate everyone in the rental housing industry that have worked so hard to continue to provide, and support,
quality rental housing during difficult times.

There is no cost for rental housing professionals to attend the Trunk Show & Parking Lot Party as long as you register to attend by May 3rd. The registration fee after May 3rd is $10.

This is a come and go event so you don't have to arrive at any particular time unless you want to participate in the Trunk Show portion of the event, and in that case, you need to arrive before 7pm.

PRIZES

Visit all the Trunk Show exhibitors and complete your game card for a chance to win $100 cash. There will be 3 drawings for a $100 cash prize (at 5:00, 5:45 & 6:45) and you must be present to win! Many Supplier Partners (vendors) will be giving away prizes, so make sure you visit them during the Trunk Show (4-7pm) to find out what you need to do for a chance to win.

FOOD & CASH BARS

Free food will be available to Trunk Show attendees from 4-7pm. Cash bars will be available for the Trunk Show & Parking Lot Party from 4-10pm, and they will accept cash, credit card or drink tickets as payment.

GAMES

We will have outdoor games set up for everyone to enjoy. Cornhole, Giant Connect Four, Giant Jenga, Ladder Ball, and more!

LIVE MUSIC

We couldn't have an outdoor event and not have live music!
At 7pm pull up your chair to the stage and enjoy live music from Eric Himan.
Eric is an award-winning singer/songwriter that plays live music all around the Tulsa area and has opened for many well-known artists like Patty Griffin, India Arie, Leon Russell and Edwin McCain. Eric has an extensive playlist of cover songs spanning the full spectrum of music genres.

WHAT TO BRING

Make sure you bring your outdoor chair!

We will have some seating available, but to ensure you have a place to sit down
and to have a good seat for the live music, you will want to bring your own chair.

If you have business cards, bring them!

In making connections with Supplier Partners (vendors) you will want to make sure you have business cards you can share so they can follow up with you after the Trunk Show.
Some Supplier Partners may have prize drawings that you enter with your business card.
If you don't have business cards, don't worry, there will be another way you can enter prize giveaways.

Please don't bring outside food & beverages.

Expo Square prohibits outside food & beverages during events hosted at their facilities.
We will have food & cash bars available.

Anyone who owns or manages rental housing, or works for an apartment community is welcome to attend the Trunk Show & Parking Lot Party for free*.

Suppliers (vendors) must be registered for the Trunk Show to attend the Trunk Show & Parking Lot Party.

*Rental housing professionals must register by May 3rd for free admission, otherwise it is $10 for admission.
