The Tulsa Apartment Association Zenith Awards is a time for us to celebrate and recognize the best of the best in the Eastern Oklahoma rental housing industry. As you are preparing to attend this event, there are a few things we would like you to keep in mind.
While we want everyone to have fun, please remember the reason we are all gathered together—to honor the hard work, dedication, and achievements of our nominees. During the awards presentation please be courteous to the nominees, and the other guests around you, by being attentive to the emcee and keeping your conversations to a minimum. With over 1,000 in attendance, conversations can quickly drown out the awards presentation!
The Zenith Awards is a professional event, so make sure you remember to conduct yourself in a professional
manner. We only say this because we have your best interest at heart, and we want to make sure you are
able to be among your supervisors, co-workers, and peers the next morning without any regrets about the
happenings from the night before. With that being said, we would like to leave you with some wise words from the makers of our beverages —Drink Responsibly.

LOCATION
This year the Zenith Awards will be held in the Ballroom at the Cox Business Convention Center. The entrance for the Ballroom is on the west side of the Cox Business Convention Center. See the Event Map below for directions. If you are staying at the DoubleTree Downtown Hotel you can walk across the street, or bridge, and enter on the south side of the Cox Business Convention Center and then walk through the Cox Business Convention Center to the Ballroom.
PARKING/RIDE SHARE
Free valet parking is available off of Houston Street.
NEW THIS YEAR! There is a Premier Valet Parking option available for $20. Premier Valet Parking includes faster pick-up time, covered parking, access to your vehicle at any time during the event, option to leave vehicle overnight and pick up your vehicle at 11am the following morning, and a $10 discount on auto detailing service provided by ASAP Services at a later date. When you arrive, please drive in the area specified for Premier Valet Parking if you would like this service.
To help ensure a smooth valet parking experience when you are ready to leave, request your vehicle 15 minutes before your departure time by texting the number, or scanning the QR code, on your valet parking ticket. If you lose your valet parking ticket, have trouble figuring out how to request your vehicle, or have other questions, please visit the Valet Parking Customer Service table just inside the West doors of the building.

If you don’t want to use the valet parking services, there is a parking garage entrance on the north side of the Cox Business Center (garage charges for parking).
For ride share services (Uber & Lyft), they will drop you off and pick you up on the corner of 3rd & Houston. See the Event Map below for the exact drop off and pick up location.
SCHEDULE
The Cocktail Reception will begin at 6pm in the Atrium of the Ballroom. Dinner will begin at 6:45pm and the awards program will begin at 7:45pm. At the conclusion of the awards presentation we will have an After-Party to celebrate all the nominees where the dance floor will open and a DJ will be playing music.

DRESS CODE
Semi-formal attire is requested. Since this year’s theme is A Night of Mystery you can incorporate some "Mystery" into your outfit, dress in "Old Hollywood" style, or incorporate fall colors into your outfit. A coat check is available so you don't have to keep track of your coat while you are inside.
COAT CHECK
There will be a complimentary coat check available for all guests near the entrance on the east side.
TICKETS
You MUST have your ticket for admission at the event. All seating is reserved. The table number where you will be seated is listed on your ticket. You can find your table location by viewing the table diagram below.
A ticket is required for attend the Zenith Awards. Registration for this event has closed, but you may email the TAA office or call 918-747-6217 to see if there are tickets available for you to purchase for this event.
NOMINEE GIFT
All Zenith Awards nominees will receive a 2024 Zenith Awards nominee glass and a drink ticket. Nominees may pick up their glass at the Zenith Awards nominee gift table when they arrive.
DINNER
A plated dinner will be served to all guests. The main course will be a chicken entrée. If you have special
dietary needs, please email us your dietary request by Wednesday, November 20th and we will be happy to have the Chef prepare a meal to accommodate your request.
Doors to the Ballroom will open at 6:45pm. At this time you may find your table and begin enjoying the salad that is preset on the table. The entree will be served once most people have finished their salad - so don't wait to dig in!
If you made a request for a special meal due to dietary needs, please let your server know that evening that you made the request. Once you tell them your name, they will bring the meal for your dietary request to you.
BARS
Drinks can be purchased at any of the bars with cash or credit card. If you pre-ordered drink tickets they can be picked up at the check-in table at the event. Drink tickets are not required to purchase drinks at the event. To help expedite the lines at the bars, there will be bars that only serve beer, wine, and seltzers.
No outside beverages are allowed in the Cox Business Convention Center.
THE PATIO LOUNGE
Visit The Patio Lounge area if you need to step outside during the event. In this area you will be allowed to leave the building with your drink & smoking is allowed. The Patio Lounge is located just outside the east entrance doors.
MASTER OF CEREMONIES (MC)
Derrick Sier is returning to be our emcee again this year. Derrick is an author, trainer, team builder, & mentor.
PHOTOGRAPHS
A professional photographer will be onsite taking pictures, and we will share these photos on the TAA website after the event. Photo booths will be available during the Cocktail Reception & After Party. Make sure you stop by the traditional photo booth to get a photo that you can take home with you that night, or visit the 360 photo booth to get an action shot to share.

The Tulsa Apartment Association (“TAA”) reserves the right to use any photograph/video taken at any event sponsored by the TAA, without the expressed written permission of those included within the photograph/video. AFTER-PARTY
After the awards have been presented we will open the dance floor inside the Ballroom and our DJ will get the after-party started! If dancing isn’t your thing, feel free to hang out in one of our lounge areas, check out The Patio Lounge, have your picture taken at the traditional photo booth, or try the 360 photo booth.
HOTEL ROOMS
The opportunity to book a discounted hotel room in our block of hotel rooms at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Downtown Tulsa has ended, however, you may still be able to book a room at this hotel by contacting the hotel directly.
